Manual tracking on Google Analytics
Google Analytics integrates seamlessly with Google Adwords but what if you want to track other campaigns (other PPC providers, banners, email campaigns etc) or if for some reason your Adwords account is not linked to your Google Analytics account. This happened to me recently when I started working with a new client that already had an Adwords account set up in such a way that we couldn't link through to his Google Analytics account.
The answer is to manually tag the ads, OK it is a bit of a pain but if you want to track the ads there is no choice - and it is worth it!
